This summer we were contracted with this renovation project in the heart of Edinburgh City. The property needed a major update before it was put on the property market. Due to the diverse range of services Malbet offers and our fantastic reputation, we were the company chosen to carry out the works.
KITCHEN
The kitchen was in desperate need of an update, so we stripped out the old flooring, cabinets and appliances and fitted new. The style of cabinets, worktops and flooring which we have installed in the property isn't just much more aesthetically pleasing, but it is also a lot more durable and will stand the test of time.

BATHROOM
We completely transformed the bathroom. The old bathroom was old and grubby, with tiles missing and pipes showing. From top to bottom we installed a brand new bathroom and designed something that was a lot more spacious and practical. This meant replacing the bath and adding a fitted standing, electrical shower.
RADIATORS & BOILER
To ensure the property runs efficiently, a new boiler and radiators were installed by our certified engineer. The comfort in knowing that your property will be heated and have hot running water is essential to the maintenance of your home.
PAINTING, DECORATING & CARPET FITTING
The property's four bedrooms were in great need of a good clear out, new flooring, painting and decorating.
In the main bedroom, the room was painted and carpet was fitted. Old furniture was either taken out or rearranged to create a welcoming feel to the room.
The second bedroom was also freshened up by our painters and decorators which really transformed the space. A new carpet was fitted here also.
In the third bedroom a large clear out was required so that the room could be used. Our waste collection services came in really useful here as we were able to clear the room and start the painting and carpet fitting quickly.
The fourth and final bedroom is quite an unusual shape and layout. As it is a narrow room, having the bed elevated allows plenty of room below for a desk and seating area. Here it was our priority to give the room a freshen up, using a light coloured paint to make the room look more spacious and fit a new carpet for comfort.
On completion the property was put up for let on Albany Lettings and a let has already been agreed. Both ourselves and the client were very pleased with the outcome of the renovation.
